Burros for Heroes Foundation, Inc. is being built through humble service, steady animals, responsible animal care, and support from people who believe in the mission.
Some people give time. Some offer useful skills. Some donate, sponsor, provide supplies, or help spread the word. Each part helps carry the mission forward for Veterans, families, first responders, community partners, and rescued animals.
Ways to Help
Give Time
Help with work days, events, setup, cleanup, visitor support, outreach, transportation, or basic farm and facility tasks.
Offer Skills
Share useful skills such as animal care, fencing, construction, photography, writing, fundraising, marketing, administration, or event support.
Donate Supplies
Help with practical needs such as hay, feed, buckets, grooming tools, tack, fencing materials, printing, event supplies, or equipment.
Sponsor a Need
Businesses, churches, civic groups, Veteran organizations, and community partners can help sponsor needs, events, supplies, or outreach.
Current and Future Needs
As the foundation grows, support may be needed in practical areas such as:
- Animal care, grooming, feeding, and pasture help
- Hay, feed, tack, fencing supplies, and basic farm materials
- Farrier, veterinary, and animal health support
- Volunteer work days and service projects
- Event setup, cleanup, greeting, and visitor support
- Community outreach, photography, and social media support
- Fundraising, sponsorships, donor support, and supply drives
- Partnerships with Veteran groups, churches, civic groups, recovery programs, and first responder organizations
